Literature Text
You saw her on that train and you'd swear she didn't have
A speck of dirt on that
Little white dress
Not that you were paying much mind
To that striking, little white dress
On her pale petite frame
Because her eyes were
The most vibrant
Opals you'd
seen
And
For certain
Those scratches that
Decorated her face were
An odd sight, most definitely
But you were gazing into those
Eyes that I'd mentioned before, the opals
As I'd called them, for certainly
They bore luster comparable to a gem
She rides that train every day, you know, should you like to see them again
A speck of dirt on that
Little white dress
Not that you were paying much mind
To that striking, little white dress
On her pale petite frame
Because her eyes were
The most vibrant
Opals you'd
seen
And
For certain
Those scratches that
Decorated her face were
An odd sight, most definitely
But you were gazing into those
Eyes that I'd mentioned before, the opals
As I'd called them, for certainly
They bore luster comparable to a gem
She rides that train every day, you know, should you like to see them again

An odd little poem I wrote awhile back describing a character's love interest in a short story I never finished.
